History

Far Northwest Caregivers was established in 1986 as a result of requests by older adults in the far northwest Austin, Texas area for senior transportation and other services not available in the area. Following a model of other inter-faith Caregiver groups, Far Northwest Caregivers began with help from local congregations, neighborhood organizations and volunteers. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
