Transportation

We provide transportation for qualified seniors to local medical appointments, grocery stores, and other errands.

Senior Day Out

This is a free social activity for adults aged 60 and over. Seniors play card games, and socialize. A reading group also meets for visually impaired seniors. Senior Day Out is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month from 10am to 12:00pm. A lunch is provided on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

Friendly Visiting & Telephone Reassurance (Care-Ringers)

These programs are designed to create a supportive network for seniors to help them combat feelings of isolation and loneliness. Volunteers are matched with a senior and visit that senior in their home, or make regular phone calls to them.

Loan Closet

Walkers, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, crutches, shower seats and other items are available for free loan on a short or long term basis.

Handy volunteers perform minor home maintenance tasks.
